Middle School,
Reimagined

Opening August 2026.

Your child deserves a middle school that's safe, structured, and joyful.

A Middle School Built for the Way Kids Actually Learn

Middle school is one of the most important, and most challenging, transitions in a young person's life. At Fort Worth STEAM Academy, we didn't accept the status quo. We asked: what would it look like to build a middle school from the ground up, with students at the center?

The answer is a school that combines high expectations with real support. Where students know their teachers, their teachers know them, and every day starts with connection before it starts with content.

The Academics Your Child Needs. The Environment They'll Thrive In.

Fort Worth STEAM Academy students achieve. Through engaging instruction, double literacy, and individualized learning, our students graduate set up for success in high school and beyond.

Double Literacy

Students take two separate literacy courses every day. One day focused on reading, one on writing. This helps students become stronger readers, better writers, and confident communicators.

Early High School Credit

ALL students can earn high school credits before they even step foot into 9th grade.

STEAM
Learning

Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math are woven throughout our curriculum.
It’s not just in electives, but in how students think, problem-solve, and create every single day.

Individualized Learning

All students have a 65 minute block where they receive instruction exactly at their academic level. Whether they are ready to explore advanced concepts or need additional support on foundation skills, each student gets exactly what they need.

Every Student Is Known.
Seen, and Supported.

We know that students can't learn if they don't feel safe. That's why student support isn't a program at Fort Worth STEAM Academy. It's part of the design.

  • Every morning starts with a 15-minute advisory period where students build community and develop character traits like respect, empathy, and resilience. It's one of the simplest and most powerful things we do.

  • Clear expectations, consistent routines, and visible adult presence create a campus where students know what to expect, and feel confident, and secure.

  • Every Friday, we begin our day by recognizing and celebrating our students. For 30 minutes, we highlight achievements, character, effort, and academic growth. We believe progress deserves recognition, and celebration builds confidence, belonging, and momentum.

WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE US

Families want more than a school that shows up. They want a school that delivers. Last year, just one in three middle school students in our area were proficient in reading, and just one in five in math. We started Fort Worth STEAM Academy because we believe every child deserves better.

Our founding principal, Nicholas Ditto, has spent nearly a decade leading schools. This includes being the founding principal of IDEA Rise College Prep, where his team consistently delivered strong academic results for students who needed them most.

This school exists because kids deserve a middle school designed for them. And that's exactly what we built.
