Meet Our Founder
Nicholas Ditto is a transformational school leader who is dedicated to ensuring all students’ success. For over 10 years, he has served as a teacher, an instructional coach, and most recently, the founding principal of IDEA Rise College Prep. IDEA Rise College Prep is a middle school and high school located in the Las Vegas Trails neighborhood of Fort Worth.
Under his leadership, the school received an “A” rating from TEA and was recognized as a “Best Middle School” from US News & World Report. During the 21-22 and 22-23 school years, IDEA Rise College Prep was one of the highest achieving schools in the City of Fort Worth.
Nicholas is currently the founder of Fort Worth STEAM Academy, a public charter middle school proposed to open in August of 2026. The school will be tuition free and open to all kids.
