We are currently enrolling 6th graders for the 2026–27 school year. We will grow one grade level each year until we serve grades 6-8.
Because space is limited, we hold a random enrollment lottery to ensure a fair admissions process.

Fort Worth STEAM Academy is a public charter school, open to every family. The application process is straightforward. Most families complete it in under 15 minutes. Here’s exactly what to expect:
Complete the short application. You'll need your child's name, grade, and your contact information. No documents are required at this stage. It takes about 2 minutes.
Within 48 hours, you will receive notice that your student has been offered a seat or placed on the waitlist. The next step is to accept your seat and begin the registration process. This typically takes 15 minutes.
Before the school year begins, enrolled students and families are invited to attend a new student orientation. Meet the teachers, tour the campus, and get ready for an amazing 6th grade year.

Yes. Our uniforms are simple.
They consist of:
A FWSA polo
Khaki or black uniform pants (can be purchased anywhere)
A black belt (can be purchased anywhere)
Athletic shoes (any color, any style)
We are in the process of securing our uniform polo vendor and will share ordering information with families during the onboarding process.

Arrival is at 7:20am, Class begins at 7:45am, lunch is at 12:40pm and dismissal is at 3:30pm.

As seats become available, we contact waitlisted families in order. We encourage you to stay on the waitlist — seats do open up.

Yes, we will provide breakfast and lunch on campus daily. We will collect lunch forms during the summer to ensure all families who qualify for meal assistance receive it.
